Five Base Pillars
Detailed Procedure :
1 TIME : 15 minute's fixed time from 6.50 hrs. to 7.05 hrs., everyday in the evening .
2

ASAN (POSTURE) : Tadasan (Attention--Straight cautious standing position ). If situation does not permit, then only, Sadhana can be performed in sitting or laying down position .

PLACE : Any suitably available pre-decided place . Care in advance, should be taken to keep away any anticipated obstruction during Sadhana period and at the Sadhana place ; place is not changed during Sadhana . Conveniently , a permanent place for Sadhana should be made , which should remain open for other devotees also .

4 SELF-SURRENDER : Retrospection or looking at the self deeds, physical and mental both, of the last 24 hours, surrendering it all in the feet of the Lord (God).
Time--7 minutes from 6.50 p.m. to 6.57 p.m.
5 DHYAN (CONCENTRATION) : Time--8 minutes from 6.57 p.m. to 7.05 p.m.
This consists of three parts :

(a) Chintan Darshan (Viewing and visualizing).
Time--1½ minutes, from 6.57 p.m. to 6.58½ p.m.

(b) Karbaddha Pranam (Folded hands salutation)
Time--1½ minutes from 6.58½ p.m. to 7 00 p.m.

(c) Yoga, Pranayam and Mantra-Dhyan etc.
Time--5 minutes from 7.00 p.m. to 7.05 p.m.

 

Step By Step Illustration With Line Diagrams :
 Before proceeding, meaning of the under noted 'terms' may be understood :

Pranayam-natural means normal breathing .

Pranayam-Poorak or generally called, Poorak means, inhaling for certain seconds as instructed .

Pranayam-Rechak or generally called Rechak means, exhaling for certain seconds as instructed .

Pranayam-Kumbhak or generally called Kumbhak means, no breathing for certain seconds as instructed.

The steps are:

7- AGYA KARYAKRAMA :
